POLAND'S ROADSHOW IN THE U.K. - NEW BUSINESS PERSPECTIVES

We have great pleasure to invite you to another conference of the ROADSHOW series. We have already been to Belgium, Germany and Portugal, and now the time has come to visit UK.

Because of its potential, Poland is one of British entrepreneurs' priority markets in Central and Eastern Europe . Having joined the Single European Market on 1 May 2004, Poland is perceived to be a more attractive, more secure and predictable place to invest.

Poland is one of the fastest growing economies: GDP growth the last year was 5,4 per cent; this is over three times faster than Economic growth in the Euro zone. The key to Poland's sustained growth will be its ability to absorb EU funding (likely to be around EUR80 billion from 2007-2013) and to use it to build a physical infrastructure of Western European quality.

Encouraged by the government and sector organizations foreign companies increasingly see chances of investing in various segments of the Polish market. Poland may not be the easiest place to do business, one will need drive and determination to overcome some of the bureaucratic obstacles, however, the rewards are greater than one could expect.

Opportunities exist in many areas; consultancy, financial sectors ,energy, construction, infrastructure, environmental consultancy, food and food processing, retail and consumer goods. British experience in many fields will be extremely welcome in helping Poland effectively leverage EU funds.

The economy is starting to accelerate back to the growth rates last seen in during the glory days of the mid-late1990s;the next few years should show sustained growth at rates far higher than those in western Europe as Poland begins to reap the benefits of EU membership.

U.K is number 5 investor in Poland. This figure speaks for itself. We strongly believe in the potential of further investments, that is why we decided to take Roadshow to the U.K. The conference will be held on 31st March 2006 in London.

The aim of the 'Roadshow' conferences is to promote Poland in the European Union countries, arouse the foreign investors' interest and create a new platform for economic relationships between Poland and Europe.

The conference will be attended by CEOs and top level managers from companies (both corporate and SMEs) seeking to expand business to the enlarged EU, representatives of financial institutions and government agencies.

The invited speakers and moderators will create a unique multi-national climate at the forum - designed to promote Poland and support the development of business in the attractive market of the recent EU member.
